Thanks for posting these! The ones of NC look like home! And I so want to go to Scotland.
So gorgeous! I wish I could go to Scotland too! *pout* The redbud tea looks like a Cherry Blossom - is it like them?
Julie:
I love redbuds in springtime! I have a small redbud tree in front of my house that has been trying to bloom (slowly!) for the past several weeks. Not as gorgeous as the one in that picture, but redbuds are unmistakable when they're in bloom, very distinctive and easy to spot from a distance.
As to whether they're similar to cherry blossoms, I'm really not sure.

From afar they look like Cherry Blossoms which are prevalent in my area of NJ. It's a shame they bloom for such a short period of time. They're also the same trees that line the Tidal Basin near the Jeff. Memorial in DC. I love them, my favorite tree in Spring.
Beautiful photos thanks for sharing them. I'll certainly be glad when Spring finally feels like spring so far I haven't felt it.
Really awesome blog. I enjoyed reading this review from you. I found that you really update your site regularly that made me more interesting. I've bookmarked your site for my future use.
Thank you
